Z-Bloggers and the Russian Military

I have two bloggers for you today who truly reflect some of the changes that drone attacks on strategic aviation are going to force. So, let’s start with the biggest of them all: Rybar.

If you follow this space, Rybar is the most influential and has contacts with the Ministry of Defense. So here is the significant effect, because Russia has a lot fewer airframes that they cannot replace:

In light of the losses of the Tu-95MS, colleagues have once again raised the issue of the possibility of equipping operational-tactical aviation aircraft with cruise missiles for strikes at strategic depth.

We have raised this topic many times, including using the example of even former post-Soviet countries like Azerbaijan. There is nothing to say about the so-called Ukraine, which adapted its Su-24s at Polish factories for Storm Shadow launches.

Our situation hasn’t changed much: Su-34s can carry Kh-35s, Su-57s use the new Kh-69s, and that’s it. And they’re not in a hurry to adapt the newly-emerging “Banderol” (Banderoly), which can be launched even from UAVs and helicopters, to the Su-25 or Su-24.

And this carelessness only causes anger. We already have many areas where we are lagging behind and cannot solve problems instantly. For
