Wrote something similar the other day, and got the attention of some of the influencers. I guess I angered the right people. It is tough love, but it is what it is. I personally use LoseIt to count calories, but that is my way to keep in calorie deficit.
The only thing to add is that yes, plateaus do happen. Be patient. Your body will break out sooner or later. After losing 50 pounds I was stuck for almost 20 months. I just stuck with it,. and it seems to finally have broken.
