Will the Republican Party survive? Not this iteration. I think MAGA’s future is in question. The party will be captured by a more moderate group, because it will be open. Forming a new party these days is very difficult. For this, we can blame both parties across multiple states. Getting access to the ballot is just silly hard, points at Texas for a good example.

This is why I pointed to the green shoots. And why I also pointed to California. In a smaller scale, been there, done that. After 187 people got organized. Well, the fifth circuit is right now mulling over the abortion pill. That will get people more riled up, because I expect the fifth to rule against the FDA, and the SCOTUS to affirm that decision.

That could have consequences though, beyond women’s health. My worst fear is a hot civil war. We are already in a cold one. Also, it’s a direct attack on the regulatory state.
