What you are seeing is the a Russian civil war.

Not cheering, just pointing it out.

And if the claims of both the RDK and the Legion of Russian is correct…this will soon grow into an internal crisis for the systema…they apparently had people, locals, who wanted to join and free Russia from Putin. Checks notes…yup, this is precisely how both the red and white armies grew in 1919. Should I remind you who put Lenin on a train and why? It worked by the way.

Incidentally, what was your opinion when Russian army troops, and FSB, under Colonel Igor Streilkov, crossed the border into the Donbas in 2014? I ask because people tend to not be consistent at all with this.

By the way, personally I am not a fan of Nikitin. I wrote exactly what he is. Hell, more color, he grew partly in Cologne, but these days he is not eligible for a Schengen visa. In my mind the RDK is the core of a new white army, with exactly all that implies. The Legion, they have been active inside Russia for over a year as well. I am willing to bet you did not know that.

I am also sure you do not realize the anarchist primarily are the ones derailing trains within Russia, that’s the BOAK. They have been extremely effective, not just within the border regions, but also in the far east. So while not a fan, this is an acceleration of the process towards both revolution, see Wagner chief, and civil war.

It might be time to write yet another guide to possible sides to this mess. But this war has released some nasty forces within Russia.
