Watch the elections in the fall. You are right, there seems to be little resistance, but this is costing Russia quite a bit. And let’s be honest, urbanite Muscovites want their western cars and Facebook back. Some of these are well connected.

As to supplies, Russia has a lot, but HIMARS are allowing Ukraine to reach out and blow them up. There are orders, meaning it’s underway, to liberate the south. If this succeeds, it will prove difficult for Russia.

Also, while NATO is not directly (as with troops) involved, I suspect Russia will complain until the cows come home. It knows getting NATO involved will make this worse than it already is.
