San Diego County is having more frequent large fires. This started in 2003, then we had one in 2007, and in 2014. It is 2020 and the Valley Fire will be a large one, affecting a mostly rural area of the County. However, this fire is exhibiting extreme behavior, which is something we are hearing more often from fire officials.
