This came through, ironically, TASS a little while ago. It reinforces the idea that the diplomatic track is opening. Here is the TASS post:

The UN General Assembly voted for a resolution on reparations that Russia must pay to Ukraine. The document refers to the creation of an international register of damage. 94 countries voted in favor, 14 against, 73 abstained, TASS reports.

The vote broke through the usual split, east-west, north-south. Brazil and India did not join China in opposing these reparations.

This matters because frozen Russian funds can be released straight to Ukraine. This is legal in many countries with Russian funds or other assets like private yachts or residences.

It also shows that the path toward a negotiated peace is starting to open. This will accelerate as Ukraine continues to advance.

There are rumors Ukraine already crossed the Dnieper. Most importantly, this came through a Ukrainian channel citing the General Staff:

In the Luhansk region, the occupiers plan to carry out a full evacuation of the civilian population from the settlements of Kreminna, Severodonetsk and Rubizhne deep into the temporarily occupied territories, Pandora’s Box General Staff
