First, let me say this. It’s not the RDK or the legion of Russia this time. The Ukrainian army has gone about 15 km inside Kursk Oblast, which borders Kharkiv. The town of Zhudzah is under Ukrainian control, even admitted by Russian media. So let’s start with the obvious from Rovenkor:

A state of emergency has been declared in the Kursk region: the operational situation in the border areas remains difficult
▪️Governor Smirnov: In order to eliminate the consequences of enemy forces entering the region, I made the decision to introduce a state of emergency in the Kursk region from August 7.
▪️Until the operational situation improves, I will personally coordinate the work of the forces of the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations.
▪️The operational headquarters under my leadership works around the clock. I keep the situation under personal control. I am constantly in touch with law enforcement agencies and the federal center. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of Kursk residents.

Establishing Ukrainian fire control over the railway line will significantly weaken the supply of the group, including in its operations in the Kharkov region. In fact, all Russian logistics in the Kursk region will have to go through Belgorod, which
