Twitter Continues to Turn to the Far Right

With the return of Andrew Anglin, a well-known white supremacist, the turn towards a hate platform continues. Twitter is no longer a safe space for many people from marginalized communities. It’s not that it was incredibly safe, but somebody will get killed at this point.

Elon Musk is helping people on their way to grievance and radicalization. This is not different from Chans, especially 8chan, Gab Social, or Truth Social. Let me make this transparent. This is not about absolute freedom of speech, a concept that does not exist. There are limits within US Law. Incitement to violence is but one of those limits.

Child Sex Trafficking

One of the big false claims by many in the far right is that their enemies, make no mistake, LGBTQ, left of Center, liberal activists are a real enemy to the far right, traffic in children. This is the basis of the Pizzagate conspiracy theory. It’s also at the core of the ideology.

The far-right sees itself as the defender of traditional values, including the family and children. Ergo, the enemy is going to be in favor of divorce and the sexualization of children. This is why Elon Musk went after the former head of safety; the NY Magazine is quoting Bloomberg:
