Twitter and Hate Speech

Update: I wrote below that access to both the Apple and Android app stores may come into question. It seems Apple is the first one out of the chute, according to Elon Musk, who informed us of this via a Tweet. He cannot understand, it seems, that he is damaging his brand, that be Musk, as well as Twitter. No company with its salt, or a trillion-dollar company, needs Twitter. It's the other way around.

It’s not surprising if you know how the fascist right works. They complain when their speech is criticized and worse when there are consequences. The takeover of Twitter was about chaos. It was about crypto. It’s part of a global far-right fascist movement. Speech that normal society avoids is becoming standard fare on Twitter.

Part of the reason is that Elon Musk got rid of the people who look at this content and got rid of it. For example, Holocaust denial is now a thing on Twitter. The Holocaust happened, and it was not just six million Jews who perished. It was another seven million gentiles. It was death on an industrial scale. It happens to be that denial is the last stage of any genocide.
