What follows is an article written by a Russian, sent to the legion of Russia. I want to share it entirely, but the author’s name is not included. In a nation that is rapidly closing, I had the debate on whether to share or not. But let’s be honest, I am hardly the only one reading Telegram. I have written about this in the past, but not as eloquently as the author does.

I am always convinced people who take a pen to paper, or is this a keyboard, are better able to speak to us. There is a sense of the closing society and a future more like the past. So, with no further:

Year of Stalin

As you know, it was Stalin who returned the New Year tree to the citizens (no one thinks that Postyshev decided everything himself?). It is possible that the rehabilitation of the Christmas tree was the only “clerdence” signed by the hand of the Secretary General. And now, seeing off 2023, looking at the lights and tinsel of festively decorated trees, it’s time to remember the “Kremlin highlander”. Because — how many times have you heard his name this year alone?

The expression “most alive” from Mayakovsky’s light hand is usually applied to Lenin. To confirm this idea, his corpse is still exhibited on Red Square. But Stalin turned out to be truly immortal. Phrases like “50 years as Stalin is not on you”, which harmlessly walked on the Internet
