The tone is Changing in Russia

We are watching something interesting happen in Russia. The first is an awareness that the war is not going well. We have little blue men running around in Belgorod. They are using tanks they seem to have borrowed from the Russian army. They are also using choppers with a similar origin.

Ukraine is getting cheeky and saying the same things Moscow did in 2014 when little green men entered Crimea and the Donbas. Then they found tanks in the mines. I guess this time; there was a tank sale at the local agricultural goods store. But I digress. After a few days of this, now we have a State Duma member suggest something entirely logical, given the demographic bomb and the fact that Russia has fewer and fewer good choices. He is talking of the failure of any of the war objectives.

Remember, this is not a deliberative body. And this member of the Duma is from United Russia, that’s Vladimir Putin’s party. So with no further, here we are:
