President Joe Biden called on the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, to pass the bill to aid Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. This is a national security matter. This is the Reuters coverage on this:

U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday said he is willing to meet with House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson to discuss a funding bill for Ukraine’s war against Russia, saying that Republicans are making a mistake by opposing the aid package.

The Senate in a bipartisan vote earlier this month passed a $95 billion aid package that includes funds for Ukraine, but Johnson so far has declined even to bring it up for a vote on the floor of the House, which Republicans control by a narrow 219–212 margin. He has been demanding a meeting with Biden.

Now, let’s look at the politics of this. Because they are related to our place in the world, as well as the Russians taking Avdeevka, or the IRGC apparently having volunteers in Donetsk. For this, let’s look at Yigal Levin:

The Russia no Context channel, which monitors the publications of the Russian occupiers and pulls out all sorts of interesting things from VK and not only, publishes these Murzilok with the following comment:

“Donetsk region. Iranian mercenaries from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who signed a contract with the army of the Russian Armed Forces, are based somewhere near the city of Uglegorsk.”

I very much doubt that these are real Guardians. We would know about this. Maybe just half-poker idiots who love Iranian bread and some visiting Arabs/Persians. But still very curious. We are watching.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with Levin. I believe authoritarian regimes are helping each other. This includes Iran helping Russia with troops. It’s not like we have shown much displeasure with the Shaheed drones, either. Or at least where it’s obvious.

We fear, or at least seem to, facing both Iran and Russia or North Korea. I believe there is more going on in the background than we are aware of. This is something historians of how we ended up in World War Three will argue about. Because I believe the weakness projected by the United States will lead to us going kinetic.

Here is where the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, comes in. He is even…
