The Russian Army and Mobilization
Things are emerging from the front. It reveals the lack of logistics within the Russian army. It speaks to the top-down command, lacking initiative in this same army.
Here is the post from the grey zone. And if you know anything about Russian doctrine, this is very likely. Any initiative is punished in this system:
A serviceman from the 205th brigade writes to us:
“Hello, I am a private from the 205th brigade, now we are in Dzhankoy, and we can already calmly talk about our problems in the Kherson region.
The defense on the left bank rested purely on the commanders of companies and platoons, who tried to do at least something, but the senior commanders did not like this initiative and they threatened to send them to the islands. In general, as previously reported, practically without food and water. In terms of security — everything is bad, a night light or a teplyak — one per platoon at best, or you should make friends with snipers who can lend you such a thing.
The humanitarian aid very rarely reached us, usually it ended up somewhere in the warehouses in Skadovsk.
