Well, this is not that much of a surprise. The National Republican Army (NRA) took credit for the explosion in St. Petersburg. This is the same group that took credit for the murder of Daria Dugina. This is a group connected to Ilya Pomenarev. The only comment I have on this because I know most of my readers will miss the context is the word Oprichnik. This was the religious police created by Ivan the Terrible. They have been compared to something between the Inquisition and the Cheka. That period of Russian history is quite dark as well. So the word was hardly accidental. In fact, it made my blood run cold knowing about them.

With no further, here is the full statement via Rozpartisan:

Through our channels in Russia, we received a statement from representatives of the National Republican Army, who declare their involvement in the liquidation of Vladlen Tatarsky. Here is the text of this statement:

We, the St. Petersburg column of the National Republican Army, declare:

1. We organized and carried out an action on April 2, 2023 against a group of Z-activists and personally against the famous arsonist and propagandist of the war, war criminal Maxim Fomin, known as Vladlen Tatarsky. This action was prepared and implemented by us autonomously, and we have no communication and have not received assistance…
