The Day After, Ukraine and Israel
Over the last couple of weeks, I have followed a series of rumors in Israeli Telegram (yes, there is such a beast) and Twitter. So today, Prime Minister Netanyahu made a short statement, and it connects to Ukraine, even if not directly.
First, the statement and some of the rumors:
Netanyahu: “After the war, a civilian administrator will operate in Gaza, the Strip will be restored under the leadership of the Gulf states”
Here is another signal from the region. One that is very important. It’s from November 17. I just saved it as I was going over Telegram:
Ruler of Bahrain: “What Hamas did on October 7th was a war crime and an atrocity and it is important to get all the Israeli abductees out of Gaza”
Here we go to a more complete version of what is taking shape; none of this is set in stone. And nobody has voted on this either. So realize that when all is said and done, part of this might happen, none of this may happen:
Proposed Solution for Gaza: Hamas terrorists officially surrender, permitting leaders and members to relocate to three different countries outside the Middle East and the Arab world.
