So yesterday, we had drones in the Kremlin. Russia is following that Ryazan pattern. It seems we are back in 1999. So there were a few things that happened over the last twenty four hours. This is the latest fuel depot to have a smoking accident:

Something exploded in Stavropol, Ruzzia. They write that barrels of fuel are burning on an area of 500 m². There were no casualties.

Stavropol is the North Caucasus, at least 500 km from the territory controlled by Ukraine.

This one is in the northern Caucasus. It is not in the direct logistics chain for the Russian forces in Ukraine. The other three are in the Kuban, where they would be likely to serve the needs of the fleet and army. It’s not clear if the rail line on the Kerch Bridge has been fixed, but tanker trucks can be used.

There is a chance the Northern Caucasus is just getting hotter. We have seen a few shootouts already. Some people, not Ramzan Kadyrov, would love to break away from Russia. However, these are not smoking cats. As bad as industrial safety is, there are way too many.

Which reminds me, this little oopsie also came through the channels this morning:
