This will be somewhat speculative because we have no idea where the butcher of Syria happens to be. We only know that we had a video during the uprising where he called for Wagner troops to stand down. It honestly looked like a hostage video.

Since nobody has seen Sergei Surovikin, we can settle in that he has been detained…ok, arrested. Here is one of those posts offering clarity on this:
