Sebastopol
--
Overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force launched an attack using Storm Shadows and sea-going drones on the naval base of Sebastopol. So, this is the official statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense. As usual, they are downplaying the damage. More on that after this statement:
Tonight the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a strike with ten cruise missiles at the ship repair plant named after. S. Ordzhonikidze in the city of Sevastopol and three unmanned boats from a detachment of ships of the Black Sea Fleet on the sea crossing.
▫️ Air defense systems shot down seven cruise missiles, and the patrol ship Vasily Bykov destroyed all unmanned boats. As a result of being hit by enemy cruise missiles, two ships undergoing repairs were damaged.

The Sevastopol Marine Plant named after Ordzhonikidze is the largest ship repair and shipbuilding enterprise in Crimea, one of the leading industrial enterprises in the Azov-Black Sea region, according to the company’s website.
It was founded in 1783. Throughout the history of its existence, the plant was fully loaded and carried out the most complex work on the repair…
