Rusich and Other Tales

Rusich is one of the most extreme neo-Nazi groups in Russia. They are incredibly violent and have been known to do certain things that are crimes against humanity. They also favor genocide.

Some of my readers will point to Azov. Mind you, Azov was absorbed into the army. It now has members from multiple minorities; their commanders are not the original people who formed it in 2014. At this point, Azov had multiple battalions, all under the central command of the Ukrainian army.

Rusich is an entirely different animal.

For starters it’s an independent formation, that at times sends units to Ukraine. They are also ideologically committed to genocide. The photo described in this post from Astra is accurate. I have a copy that could be borderline usable, since it’s fuzzed out. However, I respect my readers enough not to share this. It’s available elsewhere.

DSRG “Rusich” published a photograph with the severed heads of women

In the photo, a man with a covered face holds a severed female head in one hand, and a second head lies a little further from him. Whose heads these are and who is holding them is still unknown. The post was posted without text, and later completely deleted.
