Russian Tank in the East, not a modern tank

A couple of developments overnight that point to a worsening of the situation. First, we have seen spillage in the attacks on Ukrainian ports in the Danube. There were no casualties, but Russia is indeed testing NATO and its willingness to engage Russia in a kinetic manner.

The reason is obvious. An expansion of the war is dangerous for all of us. But overnight, this happened at the border with Romania:

Russian drones flew into the territory of Romania, one of them fell in the forest

Residents of the Romanian border commune of Chatalkioi experienced the Russian drone attack on Izmail, which took place on the night of August 2.

People saw and heard drones, which they said were flying over houses. One allegedly fell in the forest, but the wreckage has not yet been found. Some residents of the commune had their windows blown out by explosions in the Izmail port.

The Romanian Ministry of Defense also reacted to the Russian attack near the border with Romania. According to the ministry, “there is currently no direct military threat to the national territory or territorial waters of Romania.”

Let us remind you that this is not the first time that Russian missiles and drones fly over the territory of a NATO country.
