Resistance and a Few Other Tales
I have not highlighted the ever-so-slowly-growing resistance within Russia. It’s not the fastest-growing movement, partially because Russia is a totalitarian state with pretty tight control of the population. So here are some recent stories.
The first of these involves trains. They continue to derail them, or in this case, burn relay cabinets. When you read about these, remember that Russian logistics depend on trains. There is no decent road network, and the air is costly and difficult to do.

It is reported that this is the second such case in recent days, the partisans committed the previous act of resistance on Friday night. Both actions took place on a railway near Ulan-Ude. This time, two of the four relay cabinets, which store the equipment responsible for interval control, were on fire.
The rail war is gaining momentum again — almost a dozen acts of railway resistance since the beginning of the year. Keep it up!
