Negotiations or Surrender?

First, let’s examine negotiations through the Russian eye, specifically the liberal eye. Vladimir Putin will paint this as a victory no matter what.

And his highly propagandized, apolitical, poorly educated, primarily rural base will eat it whole. Putin will not have any problems with that base. The better-educated, urban, liberal mass will not say a thing because, in closed societies, you do what you must for survival.

And I must say, while I don’t fully consider Donald Trump a Kremlin asset, let’s say the FSB has his number. How do we know? This is how:

Munich deceived expectations: peace talks did not begin despite Trump’s promises. In anticipation of their start, the name of Putin’s negotiator appeared — a manager from his daughter’s entourage

The Munich Security Conference, which began today, is so far disappointing expectations: despite Trump’s statements, Russian representatives have not yet shown up, and Zelensky’s meetings with the US delegation are being postponed.

🇷🇺❌Russia was never invited to the Munich Conference. The day before, Trump promised that a meeting between delegates from Russia, Ukraine and the United States would take place in Munich. But Maria Zakharova said today that Russia was not invited to the summit. This was confirmed by the conference chairman Heusgen: “We have not accredited a single representative of the Russian government.”
