Western Allies in Kyiv. The US is absent.

Since we are in the middle of negotiations, I think it’s a good idea to point out where all this is. Let’s start with the Russian Federation. They want a few years’ break before proceeding again.

Please read this for what it means. And while we still have some assets in NATO, the clawback has likely started:

📌Russia “wants to end the intelligence sharing between Washington and Kyiv, which neither side officially acknowledges and which has helped Ukraine strike some of Russia’s most sensitive targets”

📌The Kremlin also sees an advantage in the protracted negotiations — they have already won, as they have achieved the lifting of isolation and will help to put forward increasingly tougher demands in the event of new achievements.

📌 Lavrov said today: Russia is ready to negotiate with both Ukraine and Europe, but hostilities will be stopped only with results that satisfy Russia

This is a strategic goal of the Russian Federation. And there is more. We seem to be gearing up to rescue the Russian economy:
