More Signs of Internal Resistance

Once again I will speculate on the nature of resistance within the Federation. The first is that army recruitment stations are getting firebombed. It’s to the point that Russian media is starting to acknowledge it. A Russian paper published a handy map, which shows more incidents than I had been able to track. It missed the one in Transnistria, the separatist region in Moldova.

So what if a few military commissariats, to use the correct term, was firebombed? Unlike the United States, though we still have that issue in some places, most military records are maintained on paper. If those records burn, it would make any potential mobilization next to impossible. Unless that is, it’s a general mobilization in which case these records would only hinder that process somewhat.

Look at Luhansk and Donetsk. If a general mobilization comes, it won’t matter. Like these two regions, the army and the police will pick up people on the street. This is not a very well-known story, but if you want to avoid becoming cannon fodder, you need to hide.

I would also expect the same kind of equipping of this impressed force. We are seeing a lot of World War Two helmets, as well as…
