Dagestan monument to the three faiths

First off, the board as Jews is glowing red. The levels of antisemitism are growing exponentially. We know these patterns. They are very familiar. If you are part of a group that has been a minority that’s been persecuted for millennia, you identify the symptoms of a coming disaster.

So we know what happened yesterday in Dagestan. The first post I am using today refers to how the government is reacting to the destruction of religious sites. It’s pretty telling because, in my view, they are telling Jews to go, less so to Christians.

In connection with the tragic events that occurred yesterday in Makhachkala and Derbent, when terrorist attacks occurred in religious buildings, the leadership of Dagestan instructed Dagnasledie to assess the damage caused to religious buildings that are objects of cultural heritage (OCH).

To this end, today Dagnaslediya employees, led by the head of the department Nabiyulla Allaev, are conducting an on-site examination of the Assumption Cathedral OKN, 20th century.

The same activities to assess the damage caused to cultural heritage sites in the city of Derbent will be carried out by a group of specialists led by Deputy Head Kharbil Kharbilov.
