Money to Ukraine and German Elections

Let’s start with the Pentagon’s denial of how much money went to Ukraine. I realize that much of this money has stayed in the United States, which is why this New Deal was put together.

Granted, this also goes against what Donald Trump said. This is starting to point to fractures in the US Government. That may matter in days and weeks to come. So first, here, on those numbers. This is via Volyamedia, a Russian channel:

The Special Inspector General for Operation Atlantic Resolve (OAR), who has overall oversight of U.S. aid spending for Ukraine, found in his report that Congress has approved nearly $182.8 billion for Ukraine, of which $39.6 billion has been appropriated and remains available for commitment but not yet committed, $57 billion is committed but not yet committed, $83.4 billion has been committed, and $2.7 billion has expired.

Thus, from February 24, 2022 to December 31, 2024, the United States provided assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $83.4 billion, of which $34.2 billion or 41% were humanitarian and social grants through USAID.

At the same time, the funding allocated by the United States to Ukraine also includes assistance in ensuring the security of NATO allies in partner countries, so not all financial resources are allocated specifically for Ukraine.
