Russia has a military personnel problem. They have not dared to do an open general mobilization because this could lead to an internal crisis. If there is something Vladimir Putin fears more than anything is hundreds of thousands of people taking to the streets. Yet, they need warm bodies. So the Duma passed legislation that allows for the issuance of military summons electronically. And Russians are reacting. First vía Volymedia:

About agendas

We don’t see any point in commenting on the bill, according to which the Russians will not be able to dodge subpoenas. It will be much more interesting than what is written to understand the operation of control tools. This is what we are doing for now.

What does this bill mean? That Vladimir Putin accused of war crimes is going to fight for a long time, that “partial mobilization” was not enough to revive the Russian army and achieve some results in the war, that the losses are great, but people will not be spared.

The new tool will allow, without unnecessary paperwork, to collect Russian men into units and send them to the slaughterhouse. Mass mobilization will not be done yet, because the Ministry of Defense does not have the resources for this. But they will be able to regularly pull out people in portions as much as they see fit.

We have written many times that…
