Massive Strikes on Ukraine

Once again, Russia does what it does best. It launched a hundred missiles into Ukraine. As usual, they did not target military concentrations or formations. They targeted the energy grid and civilian buildings.

This is yet, another war crime. The targeting of civilian infrastructure. But Russia does this out of frustration and the wrong belief that this will break Ukraine.

They have no electricity, but to paraphrase a resident of Kherson, they don’t have Russians either. So read this in this context:

President Volodymyr Zelensky has told world leaders that the time to end Russia’s war in Ukraine is “now” and called for the extension of a grain-export deal due to expire shortly, as heavy fighting continues in the eastern Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

“I am convinced that now is the time when the Russian destructive war must and can be stopped,” Zelenskiy said in a video address to the Group of 20 (G20) summit in Bali, Indonesia, on November 15.

“It will save thousands of lives,” he said.

Zelensky was also clear that a Minsk-type agreement can’t be trusted because Russia will rebuild, and we will be back at war. Remember, American officials told Ukraine’s president that it was a good idea to be willing to negotiate, and he has been consistent since the liberation of Kherson.
