Korea, Resistance, POWs
Let’s start with this little fun war on the rails. It’s been a constant drip, drip, drip in the background of the war. Given that most of Russia’s logistics move by rail, this matters. It’s one of those stories people tend not to pay too much attention to. And yet, here we are. Russians themselves understand the importance of rail:
The partisan wing of the Freedom of Russia Legion continues its war on the railways of Putin’s Russian Federation. Another relay cabinet is burning in the Omsk region.
This movement regularly burns the relays — the video shows just one of many such events. It should be noted that in light of the growing military cooperation between the Kremlin and North Korean tyrannies, the “rail war” is acquiring particular relevance. It is via the Trans-Siberian Railway that military cargo is sent to Ukraine.
Now, you may think these cabinets don’t add too much. And if it was just one, sue. But at this point, it is affecting the infrastructure. It’s not the occasional failure you see, either. This is now systemic.
Some of these are ancient. Some are newer with Western (sanctioned) components. We also hear the occasional, like once a month, derailment. I must wonder how much we are not hearing, though. This movement seems to have a good sense of operational security unless the army.
