Russian helicopter brought down by Chechen fighters near Grozny

The other day I posted General SVR note about Russia preparing to respond. I will give you the relevant text:

Putin suggested considering the option of creating an acute crisis within the country, which would divert the attention of the Russian population from possible failures at the front and solve a number of problems, including “temporary access to a truce, even with the temporary loss of part of new territories” and the consolidation of society. According to the president, the liquidation of the consequences of a major “accident” at one of the nuclear power plants in Russia will explain to most of the country’s population that in order to save its citizens inside the country, all forces were needed, including those that are currently involved at the front, and the enemy simply treacherously took advantage of the tragedy and seized defenseless territories. Plus, they can try to semi-transparently hint at “sabotage” at a nuclear facility, threaten to “retaliate” the use of nuclear weapons if the enemy continues a productive offensive and refuses a truce. Putin frankly said that this plan was proposed to him by the Kovalchuk brothers, he considers this plan not only effective, but brilliant. The President suggested that the participants in the conversation take this idea as a basis and provide him with detailed plans for its implementation. On this he said goodbye, leaving the interlocutors to “digest”…
