Israel: This is Personal

Update:

US State Department spokesman John Kirby confirmed that the second American aircraft carrier, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69), is currently being deployed to the Mediterranean Sea for long-term service in the region. Earlier, to express support for Jerusalem, the United States sent the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) to the shores of Israel.

Israel says negotiations are underway to allow Americans and Palestinian civilians to leave Gaza for Egypt before the start of a ground operation — CNN, citing a source

This is the current propaganda on Twitter.

Yesterday, I woke to news of beheaded children at a kibbutz near the border with Gaza. To be specific, it is within walking distance to Gaza. I know where that Kibutz is. Like many kids in the diaspora do, I went to Israel to work at a kibbutz after high school. I stayed there for five months. For me, it was Kibbutz Nir Am, fifteen minutes from Kibbutz Kfar Aza. It’s the next bus stop.

Nir Am also came under attack, but the residents could hold off Hamas until they were relieved by the army. So, as I realized it was one of these Kibbutzim, like many Jews around the world, I knew people who are now, likely, dead. What Hamas has done is precisely what Isis did. As I pointed out, they also want a global caliphate. They want to destroy the Jewish state and then move to Europe and North America.

Like ISIS, Hamas uses civilians as human shields. It’s not just the hostages. Now we know it’s about 150 people. It’s the Gazans themselves. These people House offices, bomb-making facilities, and training rooms inside civilian housing. They also use kindergartens and hospitals to fire missiles from. This makes all these places valid military targets. Israelis are still warning residents before they blow up a building.

Gazans don’t have bomb shelters because the concrete needed to build bomb shelters will be used to reinforce tunnels. So yes, concrete is one material that is carefully metered out when available. I am afraid a lot of civilians are going to die. A lot of civilians already have.

But as usual, the propaganda will accuse Israel without pointing out the reasons why. Incidentally, posts like the one above are appearing on the digital front lines already. Fact-checking does not stop them, however. The agenda is to both play victim and deny the reality of Hamas using civilians as shields. Do you know who else did this? The PLO, of course, but ISIS did as well.

This is an end-of-times nihilist ideology.

The PLO decided it was better to live with Israel. It became the PLA in the West Bank and recognized Israel. However, the Gazans voted for Hamas in 17 years ago. The West Bank has a far better standard of living than the hell on earth that is Gaza.

What about the United States?

Yes, we have tier-one units; let me translate this into English. Navy Seals and Delta Force are on standby for rescue. Israel has finely trained commandos as well. The Golani brigade carried out the Entebbe operation. However, we don’t know where any of these people are.

We are moving at least one aircraft carrier group to the eastern Mediterranean. There are rumors of a second carrier group. We are also moving land-based Air Force squadrons as well.

However, we have a problem. It’s Senator Tommy Tuberville. He got criticized by retired general Michael Hayden on Twitter. Why? Tuberville continues to hurt American military readiness by holding advancement. Now, not only did the Senator go to the police and report Hayden for a mean tweet. He posted his statement not on US Senate letterhead but on campaign letterhead. This is it, bellow.

The Senator is hurting readiness and military morale. We may be heading to military action. But this man insists on doing precisely what benefits Moscow and Tehran. Is he doing it for free? Or is he doing it because there is kompromat? But at this point, I do hope the FBI is looking into it. I am very serious about this.

Which brings me to another aspect of this story. It’s Donald Trump. Israel’s intelligence failure may be tied to Donald Trump giving intelligence at the Oval to then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kysliak:

Prominent American commentators hinted at Trump’s alleged role in intelligence-sharing with Russia as a potential reason why Hamas was able to dodge the Israeli intelligence network as it went on to launch one of its deadliest attacks on Israel in decades, catching Israelis off-guard.

“This isn’t hard to follow,” musician and author Mikel Jollett wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Trump gave military intel to the Russians. The Russians, who are extremely close allies with Iran, gave it to Iran. Iran gave that information to Hamas. Hamas used it to attack Israel. This is why intel security matters. Republicans DO NOT CARE.”

Was some of this intel on sources and methods? It would explain the blind spots. And I would expect Hamas to keep those sources out of the loop but alive until no longer needed. Why? Them going quiet would have tipped the Israelis that something was off.

I expect this to be part of the board of inquiry to follow the war. I also suspect Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who prioritized a culture war, is done.

One more thing. About the hostages, 150 from all corners of the world. Hamas threatened to execute them. I think I came across one of these videos. If you accidentally come across any of these. And there is a good chance if you troll Telegram that, you will, don’t share them. This is what Hamas wants. They also want to spread fear across Israel, primarily the rest of the West. It’s part of their information warfare against Israel and the West.

You may also need to talk to a faith leader or mental health professional. They are designed to be traumatizing.

Now, this is a critical point. If that video was the real thing, every hostage rescue team is assuming these people are dead. If they manage to get anybody back alive, that’s gravy.

Now, let me go back to kibbutz Nir’Am in 1984. Unlike Russia, people talk politics in Israel all the time. Get two Israelis; you will get three opinions, and so goes the joke. Nir’Am, like Kfar Aza, was a place that hired a lot of Palestinians. They helped with all kinds of farm chores. They got good pay. They were part of the fabric of the kibbutz.

That’s over. I guarantee that a two-state solution and living side by side with Palestinians died with the beheaded children or the concert (for peace) goers. At least for this generation, the trust needed for that is gone. Hamas is a terrorist organization. Hopefully, we will be writing of it in the past tense soon.

As to the links to Tehran, of course, they are denying it. We know Wagner helped train Hamas. So don’t let them snow you. Oh, and below is a photo of Grozny. Russia has been leveling cities for as long as it’s existed. We just noticed with Ukraine. I am pointing to this because a lot of people ignore this.
