If this is close to what is floating, it’s the opening. It’s not going to end like that. To me, this is close to the armistice of 1918. What happened next is both a cautionary tale, and how quickly things changed for Germany.

My personal view is that when all is said and done, Russia is pulling back to 1991 borders, will be forced to pay some reparations, and there will be a DMZ on its side of the border.
