I think Eastern Europe is going to move towards their own defense alliance because Moscow will remain an issue, unless Russia falls apart (which is very possible at this point). That alliance will exclude Hungary, but will likely include the UK.

This is on top of nato.

I suspect we may be entering a period of instability
