Further Withdrawals and Russian Corruption, and the Coming War

The first thing that caught my attention recently is this. The Russian Navy is trying to save some assets still caught in the Black Sea. This signals fighter weakness on the part of an increasingly irrelevant navy. I will remind you that control of the Black Sea has been a Russian objective since Katherine the Great. So this is a blow to Russian pride in more ways than one:
