Further Escalations: Medvedev
There is a lot of noise about removing or putting back red lines. The reaction from Dmitry Medvedev tells us a lot about where we are. After all, the British agree to Ukraine using their weapons as Ukraine needs to. In other words, unlike
us, they have removed the red lines.
The British have been, for multiple reasons, ahead of us. I literally could write a book on this. But partly, they have a long history with Russia. Chiefly, they are ok with the collapse of the Empire.
So, let’s start today with the former president of the Russian Federation, currently serving as secretary of the National Security Council. While many think he is a drunk, and many a joke has been made, there is a reason he is the bearer of these threats:

Now it includes representatives of the US Congress, French and British leadership, and individual madmen from the Baltic states and Poland.
