First Ever Tropical Storm Watch Issued for Southern California

The first-ever tropical storm watches for the coast of Southern California. The watches extend inland. I expect this to be upgraded to warnings before this is said and done.

We expect a heavy rain event, with rain expected to be a year’s worth in forty-eight to seventy-two hours.

If you have not bought emergency supplies, it is time to prepare. The attached screencaps are from the National Weather Service; I expect them to worsen.
