Update, now through Forbes we have a more complete picture of the package, including fighters in Romania:

Overhead, no fewer than four NATO warplanes patrolled: a U.S. Navy P-8 patrol plane, a U.S. Army Challenger with a surface-scanning radar, a U.S. Air Force RQ-4 drone and an E-3 early-warning plane from NATO. None of the planes routinely carries weapons, but NATO fighters — including Italian Eurofighters and Romanian F-16s — were nearby in Romania.

Today we got some interesting news from Ukraine. We have quietly enacted a freedom of navigation exercise after the Russian navy threatened civilian shipping. Incidentally, the ship’s nationality is not coincidental, and Russia is now on the horns of a self-made dilemma. They stated that any ship entering Ukrainian ports is now a party to the conflict.

The ships in this list are Israeli, Turkish and Greek. Does this mean Russia is about to declare war on these three…
