Do carbs make you fat? Well indeed they do. And it is science too. Especially simple refined carbs like bread and pasta, which get a very high insulin response leading in time to high insulin, and the rest that leads straight to metabolic syndrome.
Eat carbs in moderation. Keep them to complex. And keep them low in the diet. I realize this is emerging science. But obesity, it turns out, is hormonal not CICO.
And if already developed the poster child of insulin resistance, T2D, cut the carbs. Serious. Especially the industrial carbs which are refined.
I have also adopted the other emerging science to help correct the hormonal dysfunction. This is intermittent fasting. Imagine, my diabetes is getting better and my blood pressure has almost normalized. No surprise there. Oh and lost some weight to boot.
