Consequences of the flooding at Orsk are emerging. This one has large military implications. It implies a significant hole in the early warning system of the Russian Federation. With no further, here you go:

Due to flooding in Orsk , the Voronezh M radar has stopped operating, there is a threat of flooding — media

The resource of the Cheka-OGPU reported this with reference to its sources.

The Voronezh M radar station in Orsk is located 20 km from the flooded Old Town , near the village of Kumak. Put into operation in 2017. The system is responsible for warning of missile attacks in the sector from the Taklamakan Desert (west of China) to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

Open sources indicate that the radar locator provides detection of missile launches from the Middle East, southern Europe, the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa.

Due to the shutdown of the Voronezh M radar in Orsk, problems arose with tracking the launches of intercontinental ballistic missiles in the southern direction.

“Due to the dam breach, the threat of final flooding of the Voronezh radar is very high. If this happens, then it will not be possible to restore the radar “hole” quickly; it will take at least several years,” writes the VChK-OGPU.
