“I’ve watched Zelensky negotiate without cards. He has no trump cards. And it’s getting boring. You just get tired of it. And I’ve had enough.”

We see a lot of chaos in how we do business with Europe. Chaos, like the assault on our institutions, is the point. The more chaos, the harder it is to resist. So let’s start with the US Congress and Speaker Mike Johnson:

US Congress Says There Is No ‘Appetite’ for New Aid to Ukraine

The US Congress does not plan to consider a new bill on financial aid to Ukraine any time soon, said Speaker of the Lower House of Congress Mike Johnson. “We have no appetite for this. We have to end [the war]. And I can tell you that our European allies understand the need for this as well. This [has been going on] for too long,” the Republican said . He added that US President Donald Trump is a “brute force” who can end the military conflict.

Johnson’s statement comes amid growing uncertainty over future U.S. support for Ukraine and Trump’s criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whom he called a “dictator”…
