What the Russian volunteer formations did was a raid. It’s a classic of shaping operations and will force the Russian commander to make some uncomfortable decisions. Do we defend the national borders? Do we send troops to Ukraine to protect the Donbas and other territories we recently took?

What did the Grayvoron commotion lead to

Detachments of Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine from the RDC, “Freedom of Russia” and other formations left the Belgorod region last night, but the RF Armed Forces still did not come to their senses.

According to information from army sources, units from other districts and even neighboring regions continue to arrive in the Grayvoron region. Colonel-General Lapin, who the day before worked as a military traffic controller and played the role of a great military leader (he played badly), continues to pose in front of the “military commanders”, equipping a new line of defense, now definitely impregnable.

There is little chance that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the RDK or someone else from the Ukrainian forces will break through the border in the same place a second time, but this does not stop Lapin and the Russian command.
