This was not a minor incursion like we saw the RDK do into Bryansk a few months ago. This is more serious. It will also fix Russian troops in place, preventing them from reinforcing Russian forces in Ukraine.
There are a lot of rumors. So we are clear. But this is what we know so far via one of the more sedate channels:
What is happening in the Belgorod region
On the night of May 21–22, units of the RDK, the Freedom of Russia Legion and other Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine entered the territory of the Belgorod and presumably Kursk and Bryansk regions. In the morning, videos appeared on the network, filmed at night at the entrance signs to several settlements on the territory of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the first reports appeared about an attack by the RDC on the Graivoron border checkpoint near the village of Kozinka, Belgorod Region.
The villages in this area actually flow into each other: Kozinka, Glotova, Gora-Podil, Grayvoron. Already by noon, information appeared that the RDK had advanced to Gora-Podil or even to the northeastern outskirts of Grayvoron.
The RF Armed Forces at first perceived what was happening as another raid. Twice such raids have already been on the territory of the Bryansk region.
