Are the Russian Hinterlands Revolting?
We are starting to get noise that points to unrest in the hinterlands, what could be called internal colonies. Again, I am heavily speculating here, but we have enough noise that it may very well be. It is worth noticing these patterns, because unrest does not go from zero to sixty in sixty seconds. It takes a while to get there.
The first is attacks on police stations in two different republics within the federation. Both are beyond the Urals. The third is a Molotov cocktail at a recruitment station.
Realize it is these areas where most of the poorly led troops are coming from. We may be seeing the beginnings of a refusal to serve.
While Dmitri Peskov has said that a general mobilization on the ninth is nonsense (editorial note, they are planning something,) the reality of the war is reaching the hinterlands.
