Another Kursk Offensive?

There is something afoot, and we know mostly from Russian channels. There is an offensive from another direction in the Kursk Oblast. I understand that is more successful than Russians want to admit. How? Here is how:

Akhmat commander Apti Alaudinov has already denied responsibility for the fighting area in Kursk.

“The enemy has launched an offensive… The special forces “Akhmat” have never been in this area,” he said.

Whenever there is a real fight, Akhmat is never there. It’s as if this was by magic. If they were there, things would be different, now wouldn’t they? It’s now a predictable pattern. So what is Rybar saying? He is a somewhat more reliable source…and that is a matter of degree:

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that all attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled and control over the settlements of Ulanok and Cherkasskaya Konopelka was maintained during today’s offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The enemy did not achieve any particular successes with the former, but there is conflicting information coming from the latter.
