Anatoly Chubais and Rumors
So today, we woke to a nice rumor from General SVR…, and the only thing I have on that is to keep my eyes peeled for death jokes. As I have often said, SVR rumors may be code that things are going terribly for Vladimir Putin. So the rumor is that his heart stopped, was revived, and he is in a home-based ICU.
I also watched The Death of Stalin again recently due to the rumors swirling around Ramzan Kadyrov…so I will keep my eyes peeled for jokes. The SVR tale followed the movie a tad close. Yeah, linking to Twitter because most people have more access than Telegram. And yes, the usual suspects are running with it.
Treat this as helluva unconfirmed…but Aadvika is likely what is behind this rumor. With every serious reversal, they get more “interesting.” So read this with truckloads of salt. However, Cheka GPU had a couple of pieces mentioning the comings and goings of Anatoly Chubais. He is one of the liberals who surrounded Boris Yeltsin and gave Russia the shock treatment away from communism. So bear that in mind when you read this. Also, he was sidelined by Putin early in his administration.
This is a good introduction to Chubais. Of course, there are more in-depth sources. Also, and this color matters, Chubais is Jewish. In the current environment, with growing antisemitism, which Putin has engaged in…it is a piece of color we did not need.
