Let me open today’s piece with an interesting admission; one my readers knew because this is how Lend Lease was structured. So we are not surprised. However, Republicans kept telling us there was no accountability and that it was free money with no direct benefit to Americans. This is as direct as workers at munition plants, for example. So we get this from Keith Kellogg:

The story of $174 billion sent as aid to Ukraine is a myth, — Special Representative Kellogg

▫️ The US has sent Ukraine only $65.9 billion in military aid — $22 billion per year

▫️ Over $51.2 billion in “military aid to Ukraine” was spent in the United States on its own defense industry.

▫️ Russia spends $160 billion a year on war — 8 times more than we sent to Ukraine.

Will these words be in Newsmax? (I just checked, he was on Newsmax) How about Breitbart? The New York Post? The Post has rhetoric that is increasing the pressure on Russia through sanctions. With all the talk, this is policy continuity, not that most Post readers will know.

And yes, you can attack former president Joe Biden all you want; Kellogg did; you are following the same policy. Because you may run in verse, but governing is always in prose.

So what else is going on? We have confirmation that Ukraine is indeed amid an offensive in Kursk. And here is the first casualty of this offensive:
