Aha, metabolic syndrome is a very real thing. It is a very real diagnosis as well. Look go on with your myths. Your joints will teach you a lesson someday, perhaps soon, And while some obese people never develop any of the markers for MS, most will someday.

Some are ten and eleven at this point. Due to added fructose and sugar to highly processed foods, some are five. This is not fatphobia, these are facts. To the point that a first-world issue, non-transmissible diseases, like high blood pressure and diabetes, are bankrupting medical systems around the world It looks like an epidemic because it is one.

Yes, there is stigma and if all this stopped there, I would be well behind you, But when you start pushing for things that are quite frankly going to lead to disease for MOST people, I draw a line.

Have a nice day, and think whatever you want to think. If you want to call me a radical, or fatphobic, or whatever, by all means. Do so. It's no skin off me,. I think this has to be treated as a public health emergency and food items like highly processed foods need to be regulated like Tobacco was. Why? Because it is.

And yes, are WW and Jenny Craig part of the problem? Yes. absolutely, the crappy food they produce is part of the problem. They should be regulated together with the rest of Big Food. And some junk should be removed from the market, period, globally.
