Active Measures and Whataboutism
There is always an opportunity for the propagandist. Even in tragedy you always can find them lurking. The mass shooting by a white supremacist is no exception. Soon after the shooting some people found their way to the manifesto and fixated on the cover. These were members of the anti-imperialist, anti-war, far-left in the United States. The nobody who wrote this manifesto has an answer as to why he used the black sun in the cover in the first fourteen pages of his long piece.
He also wrote the number on the rifle. It’s relevant.
Fourteen stands for fourteen words fundamental to the white supremacy movement. But these people did not read what they downloaded. It’s obvious they did not go anywhere beyond the cover.
Why did this nobody use the black sun, the Sonnerad? It’s not because of the Azov Regiment, which coincidentally was also asked by whoever runs Intel Slava, a Russian propaganda outlet on Telegram. No, it had nothing to do with Azov. But the fact that this question came out at the same time, is not a coincidence.
