A Truce Or Manipulation?

This afternoon, Volyamedia had more to say about the events of the last 72 hours. Will we have a truce? Willn’t we have a truce? Will Vladimir Putin be able to manipulate Donald Trump? It’s not like Trump believes his intelligence, and the Director of National Intelligence has been repeating Russian talking points for years. So, there is that.

So here is what Volyamedia has to say about this post on Truth Social:

Two morons are a force

The day before, Trump’s special representative was given the “terms” of the talks in Moscow. He waited for Putin for eight hours and was then granted a closed audience that began at 1:30 a.m.

It was at this audience that Putin told, confidentially coughing as he can, that he had surrounded thousands of Ukrainian soldiers in the Kursk region. And now they will have no mercy, because they are terrorists according to Russian laws.

(I will deal with this claim further down the piece.)

The envoy was impressed and passed this on to Trump. Trump was so moved by the fate of the encircled that he asked Putin to spare them. And so Putin declared that Trump’s signal had been heard and that he would by his own will guarantee the thousands of encircled people that they would be granted life and decent treatment if they surrendered.
